Join us for a day of fun, friendly competition, and delicious chili!

While online ticket sales have ended, you can still purchase tickets at the event! Ticket prices will be the same. Cornhole Tournament teams who still need to purchase tickets need to arrive by 12:00PM for registration.

We have kept an eye on the weather - this event is rain or shine! We're working with our staff, volunteers, and community members to gather canopies to cover players during the tournament. Chili will be served in the covered pavilion.

Join us for an unforgettable day of fun, community, and support for an end to homelessness at Beans & Bags for Bridges! Enjoy delicious chili from Absolutely Perfect Catering, compete in our friendly cornhole tournament, place bids on exciting silent auction items, and listen to live music by local musicians Sam Dixon and Lauren Gonzales, and School of Rock.

Ticket Information:

Chili tickets include 1 chili meal and access to entertainment and activities (excluding cornhole tournament). Still hungry? In-person attendees will have the option to purchase an additional portion of chili for $10 at the event.

Carry-out orders will be available for pick-up at First Presbyterian Church of Howard County from 12:30 - 2:00PM on May 5th.

Each cornhole ticket registers one team of two players.

Attendees are encouraged to carpool to ensure there is enough parking for everyone!

If you would like to attend Beans & Bags for Bridges but can't due to financial hardship, please contact Emily Brandon at emily@bridges2hs.org.

Program Information

Join us at 1:30 pm for a short program featuring distinguished speakers. During this time, we will proudly unveil the recipients of our prestigious Gold and Silver Ladle Awards for the most money raised through tips, donations, and meals, along with the announcement of the Spirit Award for the congregation who brings the most people to the event!

New and Returning Activities:

This year Bridges is bringing back our children's art project! Kids will have the chance to create art with the theme "Everyone in Howard County Deserves a Home" to be displayed during Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week at the Miller Branch Library. Attendees have access to the amenities offered at Pavilion H including the nearby playground, basketball court and sand volleyball court.

We're also bringing back our 50/50 raffle! Purchase tickets for $2 each during the event for a chance to win half of the money raised in raffle tickets.
