This year's Chili & Challenge is Bridges' 11th annual chili fundraiser! We invite you to purchase chili meals, bid in the virtual silent auction & make a donation to support our efforts to alleviate homelessness.

The Chili & Challenge began as the Annual "Hotter Than Thou" Chili Cook-Off - a friendly competition where the congregation voted the best chili won the coveted Golden Ladle! We're honored to have the support of generous faith institutions and community members and created the Chili & Challenge as a safe & fun way to continue our chili fundraiser tradition.

You can participate in the Chili & Challenge by purchasing meal tickets above, bidding in the virtual silent auction, or making a donation. If you're supporting a specific congregation, we suggest you donate to their particular event fundraiser. Each meal purchased includes a $12 donation to Bridges. These proceeds will help us continue to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability.

Bridges is partnering with Bare Bones Grill & Bar to provide three flavorful chili meals that will be available for curbside pickup on Sunday, October 10. Tickets will be available for purchase until Monday, October 4th. Meals must be picked up from Bridges to Housing Stability (9520 Berger Road) between 12 - 3 pm on Sunday, October 10. Curbside pickup will be set up in our parking lot & guests will not need to exit their vehicle to retrieve their meals.

The winners of the Chili & Challenge will be announced on Sunday, October 10. The three congregations that raise the most money during the Chili & Challenge will win a ladle award! Be sure to select the congregation you're supporting when purchasing tickets to help them win the Golden Ladle!

With your support, Bridges can continue to provide affordable housing and supportive services to prevent and end homelessness in Howard County. Additional event details are available at www.bridges2hs.org/chiliandchallenge2021.
