Bridges to Housing Stability has converted our 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off into the Chili & Challenge Virtual Edition! We invite all to purchase chili meals, participate in the virtual silent auction, make a donation, and join Bridges for the Virtual Chili & Challenge Watch Party on Sunday, September 13th.
The Chili Cook-Off began as a competition between four congregations, and the 10th anniversary will be a virtual competition between ten congregations to raise critical funds for Bridges' day to day operations. You can participate in the Chili & Challenge by making a donation, purchasing tickets above, or participating in the virtual silent auction. Then join Bridges' staff for the Virtual Chili & Challenge Watch Party on Sunday, September 13th. All donations will support Bridges to Housing Stability as we continue to serve individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability.Are you looking to support a specific congregation in the Challenge? When purchasing tickets, select the congregation you wish to support, and the donation portion of your tickets will be assigned to that congregation's Tip Jar. Any additional donations made (with or without ticket purchases) will be assigned to the congregation's Tip Jar as well! The winners of the Chili & Challenge will be announced during the Virtual Chili & Challenge Watch Party!
Bridges has partnered with two outstanding local restaurants to provide chili meals and alcoholic beverages that will be available for curbside delivery between 12 - 4 pm on Sunday, September 13th. The Periodic Table will be making a beef chili meal, and Tino's Italian Bistro & Wine Bar will be making a vegetarian chili meal. Tickets will be available for purchase until Friday, September 11th, and ALL meals will be picked up from The Periodic Table.
Once you make it home with your meal on September 13th, tune into our YouTube channel between 1:00 - 4:30 pm to the Virtual Chili & Challenge Watch Party. During this time, you will be able to enjoy the 30-minute Virtual Chili & Challenge with Bridges' staff, county dignitaries, participating congregations, event sponsors, and other community members! We hope you can join us as we acknowledge event sponsors, recognize Bridges' history & impact in Howard County, and announce the winners of the Chili & Challenge!
